Can't ask for much more from an action movie.

A very boring soulless movie that has maybe 15 minutes of entertainment in it. The first 30 something minutes of the movie had me almost asleep. Not even the action scenes were done well a lot of cut frames during fights. The bad guys objectives made very little sense, same goes for the good guys objective. The stakes felt very low therefore was hard to have any emotional connection with any character. The movie tries to be comedic at times and never once got me to laugh. The writing was corny. The main soldier Kinney (Liam's Hemsworth character ) code name is playboy for some reason and they call him that about 100 times in a span of 30 minutes it was so annoying and I couldn't get over it every time they said playboy I cringed. Russell Crowe has a fine performance and Liam Hemsworth wasn't bad for what the character was. Really the last 20 minutes has a couple good scenes and that was all. I would not waste my time seeing this in the theatre.

Great movie, great writing! I didn't even know until after the credits that it's based on an actual event in real life which is insane that all this actually happened. Grat movie and will definitely watch it again! Seeing. Liam Hemsworth play the lead was fantastic, although I didn't know until the end, they changed the name of Kenny from Kazimir, I guess it would have been hard to imagine Liam as some Russian soldier. Watching the movie i was blown away by the action scenes and how real they looked and seeing the actors run across fields of fire and perform all these crazy acts, getting to see an early showing was definitely worth it.
