Plot summary
Dodo Rozak wants to be a good father to his daughter, Kartika. Despite his limited intelligence, he acts and behaves like children. It is Kartika who takes care of her father most of the time. Both live happily. Kartika is proud of her father, who sells balloons every day. However, their happiness does not last long. Dodo is arrested on charges of raping and killing a little girl. Dodo is imprisoned in cell No.7, which violent inmates inhabit. After various events, Dodo gets help to smuggle Kartika into his cell. Dodo and Kartika's closeness spreads happiness to inmates and guards in prison. They begin to doubt whether a loving man like Dodo could kill a little girl.

A Soapy Film with Telenovela Style
I'm was in low expectation when a company invited for movie gathering in a theater. And it was true, the movie itself overlong, another telenovela style with polished handsome , cute pretty main actors/actresses. I walked out theater almost end of the movie because boring as ever. If you like a soapy telenovela, you'll loved this. I recommend Ngeri Ngeri Sedap which is more original, great acting and story than this Miracle in Cell No.7 Indonesian version. It's torturing boring drama. The director must change his formula, as it was the same level as his another movies. Sorry , even KKN Desa Penari looks entertain than this movie.
Wonderful, emotional movie
A great emotional movie. A true journey and carousel as you go from laughing to crying to laughing all over. The actors are impeccable, the story is very well followed, it captivates you and leaves you with a wonderful impression that kindness it still exists amongst people.
This is a movie for the people who believe in love, grater than any other feeling. The relationship between Memo and his daughter is special and amazing, the girl is very smart and the father very loving and protecting.
