BERNIE MAC...#WOW...14 YRS. SINCE HIS DEATH. LOOKIN' BACK...TAKES ME TO THAT VERY FIRST COMEDY STAND-UP ROUTINE. HIS FIRST APPEARANCE ( FOR ME) WAS ON THE 'RUSSELL SIMMONS' COMEDY JAM-HOUR. "I AIN'T SCARED OF YOU MUTH'UH-FUK'UHZ; KICK IT!" HE WOULD TELL A JOKE. AND, WHETHER THAT JOKE "BOMBDED" (FAILED TO RESONATE) W/ THE CROWD, HE FOLLOWED THE "DUD" BY DELIVERING THAT 'BACK-UP' #PUNCH LINE. 'FOR ME' AFTER SEEING THAT PERFORMANCE ON CABLE TV's HBO SPECIAL BACK IN 1997 FROM THERE, HIS CAREER IN COMEDY TOOK OFF.
